What a difference a day makes. Blue skies, a little windy on the
summits with highs near 70 on race day. Sunday and Monday it was
snowing on all of the course. Low point on the course is 4900', high
point is 7800'. Many thanks to those who attempted the first Waldo.
And a big congrats to those who managed to stay on the course, summit
the three peaks and find their way down Maiden peak on the leap of faith
trail and on to the finish at Willamette Pass Ski Area.

Next year we are probably moving to August and will have more daylight
to keep the course open longer and extend the cutoffs.

If you're scared of the woods or are looking for a 100K PR Waldo is not
for you.

Report by Steve Smucker to follow.
