2nd Race in the 2008 Ultrarunner.net Race Series
50K Trail Run, 2 Person Relay, and 10K Trail Run
Start: 8:00 am
Red Bluff, CA
Awards: 1st Overall Male/Female
$45.00($60 Relay) Pre entry
$55.00 ($70 Relay) Late Entry after 4/5/08
Race Day $60($75 Relay)
Includes race, shirt, Sunsweet stuff, and post race food
Proceeds go to the Dairyville Community Club - college scholarships to future farmers in Tehama County
Course - combination of single track trail, some gravel and dirt roads
Trails are combo of smooth, with some rocky (volcanic) sections - about 1000 ft elevation gain
4 total creek crossings. (2 each for each relay person)- lots of wildflowers!
8 hour time limit
Packet Pickup: Friday night at the Tehama Family Fitness Center on South Main Street, Red Bluff Saturday morning at Jellys Ferry Boat Lauch 6:30 to 7:30am
Race Parking at Jelly´s Ferry day use area (take Jellys Ferry Rd exit off of I-5 for 7 miles, follow signs)
6 aid stations
Weather can vary - previous years at that time have had temps as high as mid 90's, and mid 60's/light rain
