The 2011/2012 Ultrarunner.net Race Series Presented by Fuel Belt does not require any additional fees or entries.

This is our 9th year. Runners just enter the individual races. The individual race directors will provide the series director with information about the runners to calculate the runners points and age division. The runners age will be based on their age on the last race in the series (Folsom Point Fall Trail Runs).

Runners must complete at least 5 of the races in the series and the score from all 12 races will count.

Age Groups:
29 & Under, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & Over.

Scoring:
The series scoring system will be based on points scored by race distance and runners performance.
The winning time from a race (in minutes) will be divided by the runners time (in minutes) and then multiplied by the race distance (in miles).

Points are scored only in races that are at least 25K in length.
Runners must run in at least 5 races with all 14 race scores totaled. If there is a tie, the following tie breakers will apply in this order:

• 1. The runner who has completed the most series will be placed ahead.
• 2. If the runners have run against each other, the higher placing runner will be placed ahead.
• 3. If a tie still exists, a coin toss will we used to decide the winner.

PRIZES:
The prizes will be donated by our sponsors. There will be Overall Men´s and Women´s awards and prizes three deep. There will be age division awards and prizes three deep. Overall winners are eligible for age division awards.

Grand Prize for the Overall Men´s and Women´s winners: will receive a 2 two-night stay packages at Harrah's/Harvey's of South Lake Tahoe.
The package includes $50 dining certificate valid in any of Harrah's or Harvey's restaurants and a show for two in Harvey's Cabaret.
($550 value each).
Also a pair of Inov-8 Shoes ($90 value).

Second Place Winners: TBA and a pair of Inov-8 Shoes ($90 value)..

Third Place Winners: TBA and a pair of Inov-8 Shoes ($90 value).

Age Division Winners:
1st Place - Hydration Packs from Fuel Belt valued $60.
2nd Place - Fanny Packs from Fuel Belt valued $40.
3rd Place - Fanny Packs from Fuel Belt valued $30.

All age division winners (36 total) will also receive 2011/2012 Ultrarunner.net Race Series packages (over $200 value) consisting of a pair of Inov-8 Shoes ($90 value), socks from Injinji, Cans of HEED, bottle of Endurolytes, BodyGlide, and more.
