Thank you for your interest in the 2010 Jenkinson Lake Spring Trail Runs.
Jenkinson Lake is located 60 miles East of Sacramento via Hwy 50.
Exit Hwy 50 at the Sly Park Rd(Exit 60).
Go to the stop sign and turn right, travel approximately 4.5 miles.
Go past Jenkinson Lake Park Entrance and take Morman Emmigrant Trail Road on left.
The trail around the lake is 8 miles in length. The trail will be run counter clockwise around Jenkinson Lake from the EID Retreat building(Group Campground #5 turnoff)(2nd left turn after crossing 1st spillway). It will run along the lake except going along 2 small sections of road(across the 2 lake spillways-run on shoulder). You will be running with traffic so watch for cars(as they approach you) as their are a couple of 50+ yard sections without any shoulder. The course will than run on the hiking trails on South side of the lake. It will continue on hiking trails until dropping into Hazel Creek Aid Station before moving to horse trails to the Miwok Aid Station. It will than run along hiking trails on South side of lake until crossing the spillway until you enter the start/finish/aid station.

Jenkinson Lake Elevation: 3415 feet.

Provided approximately every 4 miles, well stocked with HEED, water, Coke, chips, cookies, potatoes, Hammergel, E-caps, bars, candy, P&J's. Restrooms located at start/finish/aid station.

Will be provided by race management.
We will be using a Chip Timing system. Please remember to remove chip straip and return after race.

The Jenkinson Lake Spring Trail Run will have a Post Race BBQ Buffet after the event. It will consist of Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, Turkey Burgers, Veggie Chili, Vegetables, green salad, fruit, dessert, and more.

Take Hwy 50 East and exit at Sly Park Road(Exit 60).

Take Hwy 50 West and exit at Sly Park Road(Exit 60).
