Join us in
Coventry, Rhode Island for the 11th anniversary of the Nifty Fifty Ultras. The
5.4-mile course in rural southwestern Rhode Island is a great place to run an
ultra. During the past decade the Nifty Fifty has played host to many
ultrarunner’s first venture into the sport. In addition, some of the country’s
finest performances have been turned in at the Nifty Fifty. Last year’s winning
time of 5:42:44 by Jim Garcia was the fastest 50-mile run in North America for
the year 2001. We would love to have you join us for the 11th anniversary of
the race this November.

The certified 50-mile course covers nine
5.4-mile loops and a one-mile beginning and finishing out and back.

The certified 50-km course covers the one-mile out, then five and a half 5.4-mile
loops.

The certified 26.2-mile course covers
the one-mile out, then four and a half
5.4-mile loops. Acceptable for Boston!

Directions to start at the Washington Oaks
School: Rt. 117, Coventry, Rhode Island; 10 miles West off I-95.

Two aid stations on each loop will be
available. Water, Gatorade, sports gel and bars, other food items.

Commemorative shirts for all pre-entrants.
Medals to all 50-mile finishers within 10 1/2
hours, all 50-km finishers within six hours, and all marathon finishers
within five hours.
·
Complete race statistics will be provided
for each runner, including splits for every loop.
· Open and age-group
awards in all races.
·
Post-race dinner and awards at Washington
Oaks School.
