Donna Perkins, of St. Francis, Wisconsin wins overall in the second fastest
time at the 3rd annual Kettle Moraine 100 Mile Trail Run.  With 98 starters,
65 runners would find their way to the finish line under near perfect running
conditions.  At the 3:00 PM start on Friday, temperatures were in the mid 50's
with partly cloudy skies.  The temperature would dip into the very low 40s by
the middle part of the night, when the majority of the runners would make the
turn at 50 miles.  Saturday found the runners finishing conditions similar to
when they started.
