Thanks for making the first annual Great Brook race a success. I hope you
all had a good time and enjoyed the day.

Special thanks go to the volunteers- Missy and Kim especially, for hanging
around for 7+ hours in non-tropical weather (sorry- no palm trees in
Carlisle in December) and doling out food and drink, along with helping to
clean up. Without these folks, quite simply, the race does not happen.

I definitely plan on having the event in the fall again- probably the same
weekend as it did not seem to conflict with anything else on the calendar. I
am also thinking about having a marathon length race, on a longer loop
course in the same park in the end of March or early April. If you think
that would be attractive, please let me know- I believe the park people
enjoyed having us and we also raised $300 for the park to be used for
programs in the future.

Have a great holiday season and see you on the trails somewhere.
